That said though, if you think you might have any information that would go any
way towards helping resolve this problem, let us know. I've been hearing some
reports about this problem, and since we are working on CW Palm V8.0, we would
like to get this resolved before shipping.

It would be pretty hard for me to get anything fixed if I've never seen
the behavior, don't have a reproducible case for it, and only one person
has reported it. If you see it again, be sure to send in a bug report
with the reproducible case.
