How should I detect the pen being moved from one silk screen button to
another,
for example from the CALC button to the FIND button, also within a HACK
?
Obviously I should look at the Event buffer, but it's not immediately
obvious to
me which fields I should be examining. To just detect a "normal"
keypress of say
the calc button Im looking for a keyDownEvent where
keyDown.chr==calcChr. That
works just fine. For moving between the keys, I guess I should look at
the
pendown and penup events, but Im not sure which fields tell me the pen
started
on the CALC button and ended on the FIND button ? It isnt obvious as I
dont see
the calcChr value anywhere ?
The added complexity is I need to do this inside a HACK so even if that
guess is
right I have a problem : if I have to look for two events in sequence
(pendown
then penup) .... I have no globals and no memory of the previous event,
save
writing it to a database of my own. But even then I cant guarantee it
was in fact the
previous event at all. Maybe I can get all the info from the penup event
?
I just know there has to be an easy way !?
