hi people!
the problem : manipulation XML databases on the Palm and related issues.
the approach i plan to take is as follows:
1. Convert from XML to PDB.
2. To conserve space in the device, convert the PDB to the DOC format which can be
read by a DOCReader such as CSPOTRUN.(correct me if i'm wrong but i think the DOC
format is a compressed PDB(4)format..)
The problem is this:
The databases are mammoth. Is there any other way to use a compression algorithm and
have the application decompress the data , read it back and manipulate data?
or should i use the same approach as stated above..
any suggestions would be very very welcome.
