It's not buck passing. Palm owns that code, not Metrowerks. That's
their contractual relationship. It's not unusual for one company to
include another company's product in their package. If you want to
yell at someone, yell at Palm.
FWIW, the 10K ID restriction comes up regularly (every 2-3 months) on
this list, and as far I know, it's in the docs too.
