I also noticed that this message changed to something about 'target not registered' if I changed ROMs.
This happens from time to time, when it does removing all object and recompiling often fixes it. Sometimes I have to fiddle with the code, start a new POSE session, etc. I have also noticed that the intermittent problem I used to see under CW6 (having to click through a couple of dialogs about in order to start the debug) has gone away and this seems to occur in the same settings. I suspect that it's a problem in the app causing a linkage fault that messes up the debugger connection to POSE. I have definitely seen CW start up a second POSE session, apparently because it's lost track of the first one. I've seen a number of people report this but have yet to see Palm or CW say anything about a problem that seems to have been around for some years now. After shelling out a bundle of cash for CW7 and having it crash more than CW6 did I've lost interest in paying for CW8.
