Last time this was discussed on this forum, the decision was that the "standard" is to append the crid. (See "Palm OS Programming: the Developer's Guide," chapter 9 - Databases, which says "Developer Support recommends that you name your data-base with two parts, the database name followed by a hyphen (-) and your creator code. An application with a creator ID of 'Neil' that created two databases might name them: Database1-Neil, Database2-Neil") If you search the archives, however, you'll find a dedicated group of prependers. Also, you may have noticed that Palm, Inc. does not follow its own advice. (For example, the Memo Pad database is called "MemoDB".) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
