Like the quoted statement above, I said that with a bit of levity. AAMOF, once a person gets the OS for "free", he/she starts looking for what else she/he can get for free, and pretty soon he/she expects that all software should be free. This is not an environment that most commercial software developers want to play in, so it definitely limits the number of software titles.
