This message is from SysFatalAlert, so it is generated by the ROM, not by Poser. There's not much I can do about it except add a switch to squelch messages from SysFatalAlert. Using a Release ROM as opposed to a Debug ROM should allow you to proceed (of course, at the loss of other error checking that Debug ROMs provide). >This is really irritating, because the purpose of the code executing the >FrmGetObjectIndex is to determine whether or not specific objects have >already been dynamically added to the form. Can you instead iterate over all the form objects, get their IDs, and discover that way which items are in your form? >If I tap "Continue" on the alert box, the execution continues as expected. >However, if I tap "Debug" to check out my application trace stack, then >"Run", I get another error "MyApp (x.x) just executed an illegal or unknown >machine instruction. I'll look into this one for Poser 4.0. -- -- Keith Rollin -- Palm OS Emulator engineer -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/support/forums/
