Try the Palm Programming: The Developer's Guide, edited by O'Reilly. I learned to use tables, and other stuffs, there. That's a good book for C users. But you don't need to buy it. It's browsed in Web, but I don't remember the URL. I think there's a link to it in www.palmopensource.com. Try to take a look there.
