The sample code for the built in applications is a very valuable resource. Just think for a moment about where you've seen the behavior you want in your application, then go find the source code and see how it was done. For example, you say you'd like to use dates and checkboxes in tables. Well, the To Do application uses check-boxes and dates. The checkboxes are obvious. To see dates, hit the Show... button and turn on Show Due Dates. -- Peter Epstein
