Right around Christmas time someone named Jon posted a message about
someone who posted keys to his program on a website. Jon asked what he
could do about it and got quite a few responses. Jon's message was message
number 65794.
Jon if you're out there, there is an interesting article in section B of
today's Wall Street Journal. Evidently Software Piracy has been made a
federal crime punishable by up to three years in prison. According to the
article several individuals have been convicted and are facing prison time.
Call your nearest FBI office Jon, no joke. It sounds like you can put a
stop to it. It's not a civil matter so I don't think you have to pay for
the investigation.
