Hi,
Thanks for those responses with regards to my
question about Thai fonts being supported on the Palm
OS.

I think my posting has already generated quite a
lot of hoopla about the fact that the contract comes
first & then the solution. However the situation isnt
quite as bad as it seems. My clarifications on the
subject.

First of all the software that has been developed
is a product that my company has developed & is being
used by around 22 companies in Europe & Asia. Now
there is this Thai company which is showing interest
in the software but they have set this clause saying
that the software should support Thai language. Maybe
in my over enthusiasm to get a response I worded it
too strongly.

My straight again question again would be whether
Palm OS supports character sets which can be localised
& is there any company which has already built those.

Subcontracting is out of the question as it doesnt
seem to be a mammoth task as the software is already
in place.

> On another subject, interesting project/sales
>approach! First
> get the contract and then figure out if it is even
>possible to
> achieve, and if so how....

>Must be great to work for a company that never shows
>up in Dilbert!

About the following quote i would have to say that
todays so called IT revolution has been heralded by
the companies that feature in Dilbert & in the current
'dog eat dog' world this is a comon means of survival.

Regards,
Dhiraj
