Thanks for responding, but this isn't really what I'm after. I want some way
of displaying existing, external image files from inside my app, which is
why I first asked about FireViewer and PictureGear Pocket. Again, I want it
to work something like the Clie AddressBook application, which lets you
specify, for any person in your AddressBook, an existing image to "link" it
to. In the AddressBook, you can then click on the image and it is displayed.

I don't want to get into the details how to convert .jpg or other image
formats into something that can be displayed on the handheld. I want to let
another app worry about those details. I want to use it like a library, just
like you can use PalmPrint to print from your application instead of writing
printing code yourself.

Do FireViewer and PictureGear Pocket just convert images from .jpg on your
desktop to bitmaps on your handheld? I don't think that's the case with
PictureGear Pocket, I think it has its own internal format. I don't know
about FireViewer. Does anyone know where there is documentation available
about either of these two applications? Are there other such applications I
should be looking into?

Tom

P.S. Sorry about accidentally posting the commands to the list
