This is kind of off-topic but... I have a customer that purchased 60 M105 directly from Palm. So far they've have had 18 out of box failures. All have exprienced a stylus tracking problem where after 15-20mins of use, taps are no longer tracked to the proper locations. Recalibrating the stylus only temproarly corrects the problem. This happens straight out of the box with no additional software installed.
Has any other developer expirenced similar failures? 30% failure rate is extremely excessive. Palm is swapping out the units as fast as my customer can return them but I wonder if its a problem that could be corrected in the field. Palm Support first blames 3rd party sotware but since there is none installed, they just declair the units defective. Until there is a 'hardware' forum, I though this may be the best place to get any feedback. Thanks.
