Interesting... let me see if I understand this...

Even though the Clie N70-V has a screen resolution of 320 x 480 any
controls that I place (button, field, lists, etc) must be placed as though
it is in a 160x160 screen?
Ex: Say I have a button that is 15 x 20 placed on a form (upper left at
80,80) on a 160x160 device. And say I use an image for that button. Say
on a 160 x 160 device my image was drawn 15 x 20 (with upper left at
100,100).
But now on the 320 x 320 device, I want to use a higher resolution image
for the button. I was figuring that I'd specify it to be 30 x 40 with
upper left at 200, 200 so that it came out in the same relative point on
the screen but with a higher resoution image.
Are you saying that I can't specify coordinates like 200x200, for controls?

The other question is if the OS just expands my existing application
fields and images to fill the screen, how do I use a higher resolution
image (like the 30x40) without having the OS try to expand it, thinking
that it might have been drawn for a 160x160 device?
Also: Are you saying that controls cannot be placed in the bottom 160
pixel area that is available when the grafitti area is removed from the
view.
If that is the case, I might not have to do much, if anything, to do. It
was my intention to check for the grafitti area present and if not
present, allow additional set of controls (fields, buttons, etc) drawn at
higher resolution (I use my own images for buttons).
Thanks,
Mike
