Hi. I have a bunch of bmps to put into a resource. I have dithered them down to 16 colours in Windows. They look passable there. If I use PilRC to make a 256 colour prc file with them, they look horrible using the Palm palette. Aaron suggested using COLORTABLE to put the palette in the prc.
I tried this, then when I went to view the bmp with either RsrcEdit or ArtBMP, my Prism locks up with a white screen. Resetting it left me with a flashing "P" Palm logo. The only way to get my PDA back was to wipe the whole thing then re-sync everything. I also tried just changing ONE bmp in the resource .prc to a COLORTABLE bmp. All the others could be opened, but the one with COLORTABLE still crashed my Prism. Anyone have any ideas as to fixing this problem? Thanks.
