I read in the "Instant Palm OS Apps" that one of the benefits of using Databases (over File-Stream operations) is that databases are automatically backed up when the user does a HotSync. As a test, I created a couple custom databases in my hand held. Was able to open them, close them, etc with my custom app. I HotSynced it and then did a hard reset. When I HotSynced again, the databases were gone. So, appearantly they were not backed up.
Is that the job of the custom conduit? Or is there someway else to register databases so that they are backed up with the custom conduit having to do it. Thanks, Rich -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
