I think that it is an excellent book for beginning Palm OS programmers -- it describes each UI component that you have to deal with (e.g. Lists), the structure of the component, what each field of the structure is used for, and it gives clear, step-by-step, code examples of how to use the component, including how to respond to all of the related events. HOWEVER - The book was written before Palm OS 3.1, so it knows nothing about the new data types (which will confuse many beginners), and it knows nothing about web-clipping, color, VFS, higher screen resolutions, ARM devices, etc. So, a year ago I would have said, "Buy it". Now, I'm afraid I'd have to say, "Sorry. Too late." __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
