Few Palm devices contain a speaker.  Most have a piezo transducer or small
amp circuit that is not capable of playing much back besides standard
computer beeps and music notes.  (at least not with any clarity).  If you
need WAV playback, look into a Handera 330.  They have a SDK available to
play back WAV files. (the library doesn't work with standard Palm units).
