Palm m500 uses SDIO to communicate with the GPS receiver. Is the SDIO
slot a serial port? I need to know if I should do
SrmOpen(serPortIRPort, baud, &portId) or SrmOpen(serPortCradlePort,
baud, &portId). Thanks.

Buy a copy of 'Palm OS Programming, The Developer's Guide' (2nd edition)
The serial example in it uses the NMEA protocol and the serial manager
to
get locations from a GPS.
