are you sure you cannot do the same thing using the notification
manager? what about using the locale manager/database support?
a lot of hacks will work on palmos 5.0 once the developers rewrite
them as needed.
in your case, i dont know if there is a notification that will allow
you to patch drawing/searching routines specific to languages :(
i am sure someone from Palm either knows:
a) how to provide multiple language support (localization)
b) what palm's plans are internally/externally to do the same thing
there are a lot of reasons why you should not use SysTrapAddress.
keep in mind, the whole idea of PACE is to run a trap natively.
your "replacement" will be in 68k - see how it can mess up already?
