I'd have to say the answer to all your questions is no. 1.) Good luck maintaining more than 1 simultaneous connection.
2.) No way could you get CodeWarrior on there (not to mention it was written for an entirely different OS). There are a few compilers/interpreters for the Palm platform (PocketC?). 3.) The biggest devices right now have 16-32 MB storage space. If you have a device with an IC card slot for memory stick or CF or SmartMedia, then you've got essentially 128 MB of space available. This device is not suited for your needs. -----Original Message----- From: Irfan Mumtaz Sheikh [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, August 20, 2002 9:18 AM To: Palm Developer Forum Subject: Palm as a Server Hi, My question is not related to palm programming issue but the current capabilities of Palm OS.and i thought this is the best place where i can get an answer? 1. Can we use a Palm as a server ? which means that if we connect palms wirelessly and one of them acts like a server and others as client. By server i mean it handles large data enough to atleast cater the request of 5-6 Palms at a time. If not , what are the limitation for it being the server. 2. Can we run an application like Code Warrior (say a demo version only 36 MB) on Palm. It might sound ridiculous but i am intereted in knowing where are the limitation? (a) what changes do we need to bring in Palm (b) what changes need to be brought about in an application that rums on it. 3. Lastly were from can get in the information about current limitation of Palm in terms of running the huge application software. which need very large disk space.
