Its not likely.  Some licensees may sponsor their own APIs, but writing 
back to flash tends to be OS-version and flash-part specific.

You can license FlashPro and use its API to write to flash on some 
devices.  They have a development kit built around that.  I think Symbol 
has something for their devices too.
