i havent downloaded the pilrc version supporting os5 bitmaps yet. on of my
games has sony hires support and i wanted to use the same images for os5
devices. so what i did is simply load the bitmaps as usually and convert
them to bitmapv3:

BmpCompress(picture[i], BitmapCompressionTypeNone);
picture[i] = BmpCreateBitmapV3(picture[i], kDensityDouble,
BmpGetBits(picture[i]), NULL);
