I had heard that one of the differences between 5.0 and 5.1 was the addition of the sampled sound support. Perhaps I heard wrong. In any event, I'm looking for a device to test my application which uses sampled sound. The Sony PEG-NX60 runs 5.0 and returns sysErrNotAllowed when I try to use sampled sound. What I'm hoping to discover is whether the Tungsten will do this as well. I don't want to buy one only to discover that it is useless for my purposes.
