I do understand, he likes to access the files on the desktop. Right? If so, you should look at palmsource for developing a plugin for the palm desktop.

databook.dat file without using any palm software.

i'm developping a software in java. in this one, i
realised a schedule. and i would like to be able to
see this scheduler on a palm pilot. so i have 2
solutions:
i develop a new scheduler for palm,
or i use the palm scheduler, but in this case i have
to access from my java program the databook.dat

anyone could help me?
