As an FYI to the rest of the list... apparently one of our vendor's secure server was down when this was happening, and (I'm light on details here; don't shoot the messenger) it directed him to an insecure one but wouldn't allow the transaction to happen due to the insecurity. If he had logged out and back in, it would allegedly have worked.I have tried and tried to sign up for the Advantage Developer program to no avail. My issues are a) The credit card fields are plain HTTP, not HTTPS. and b) even if I do try to give you my CC (even though it is not secure) the web site gave me an Error 500.
As for the other gripes about the program: it gets good results for folks who have technical problems that need prompt help from PalmSource. If that's not what you're looking for, and neither are the additional bits it provides, then, well, that's that!
