I have users that either get fatal errors (from mem mgr) to users that get error message that say their speed-dial database is full. For users that get the second error message, that's only AFTER they click a phone number. We don't perform ANY phone related calls until after a number has been clicked, at that time we will lauch the dialer on the treo, it seems that this has resolved the speed-dial database problem. (before we were just using the helper app notification and apparently it was finding speedial before the dialer.)
But the fatals don't make any since. (since this happens regardless of what the user does in the application, plus this application is just a viewer, it doesn't do anything with the phone UNLESS a user clicks a number) - the first error happens just by launching into our application AND wireless mode is on, otherwise if wireless mode is off, all works well. (the user can perform all appliation functions with the exception of dialing a number). So I haven't been able to narrow down way this happens, and this happens ONLY on the treo devices. All other phone applications for any version work fine. thanks - bill "Steve Mann" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:111815@palm-dev-forum... > > >To help trouble-shoot the issue, I didn't know if other people have seen > >simular problems with wireless mode and the Treo? > > Kind of hard to answer that question without more details on the > kinds of problems you're experiencing. > > Regards, > Steve Mann > > -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
