Does anybody have an idea why would a Palm OS device (Visor Platinum, Palm OS 3.5) spontaneously reset itself (soft-reset) upon trying to enter sleep mode?
I am using shared libraries, which stay open, and are not locked in any way, and also, on occasion, use the serial port to interface with a thermal printer - but I verify that sleep mode is not entered while transmitting. In fact, the application is really idle when sleep mode is attempted - it just resets, and of course that causes the application to quit.
