I am currently trying to debug some ARM code on a TT using my USB cradle. Unfortunately, I do not seem able to get Codewarrior/Palm Debugger and the device to talk to each other. I followed the instructions contained in Palm Dev Tools Manual, i.e.: disabled Hotsync Manager, restarted PC, started Palm Debugger, set port to USB, connected Palm to PC via cradle, Shortcut..2, but debugger gives me the following msg:
Initializing parser... Initializing lex... Installing keywords... Initializing eval... Initializing exec... Loading startup script... CmdRunScript: error opening file UserStartup-PalmDebugger ============================ DebOut = false SymbolsOn = true StepRegs = false ReadMemHack = false Attached = false ............................ dot address = 00000000 last address = 00000000 last count = 00000000 ============================ error code: 040E error code: 040E error code: 040E . . . same message repeats over and over dir 0 or hl 0 gives the usual error message. Any suggestions? By the way, on the Palm I can not notice any differences after inputting the shortcut. What is supposed to happen?
