I started out using the regulal C API for Palm and nearly offed myself
trying to remember things like StrCopy instead of strcpy -- drove me nuts.
I googled for a "Palm Library" and found POL.  I have never used the STL in
Palm so I can't comment on that.

IMO, POL is good because:
1. Similar to MFC.  If you know MFC POL is not very different conceptually.
2. The documentation is good.  The more I use it the more I appreciate it.
3. Support in this NG and at www.aqpoint.com/pol is good.

Historically, I've been an OO programmer in the Windows world (MFC, ATL,
WTL, C++, C#, STL) so POL fit for me.
