Is it possible to use the executable of PilRC instead of the plug-in in
CW8?

In the meantime, I'd suggest upgrading to CodeWarrior for Palm OS V9.
It doesn't use Neil's PilRC plugin to convert RCP-to-Rez, instead it
actually directly calls a PilRC executable, has it generate a PRC file
from the resources, and merges that output into your output PRC file.
It also comes with PilRC Designer for editing and previewing .RCP files.
