No offense taken, I just wanted to make sure no one thought any favoritism exists. In the time that document was written, most of the independent tools projects got their information by reverse-engineering the formats. Those documents pre-date the year 2000 in the header--I recall reading them in 1997 and back then the reason Palm DTS would've said "use CodeWarrior" is that at that time it was the only solution that had been validated. When John Marshall began working for Palm, he got the prc-tools working in the same manner. John left Palm to work for Falch.net.
For what it's worth, I was the product manager for the Palm tools from 1997 to 1999. This is the position Ben is doing so well now. I now work for Palm in their tools group.
