Nah the pilrc source is twisted at best. Better look into the rez definitions for the various resources, they are very clear and easy to understand. You'll find them in the Palm OS SDK in the Incs/Core/UI/UIResDefs.r file.
True, but the Rez definitions define that .rsrc format, which differs from the actual on-device representation for many data types. For example, on the device, a form is a single 'tFRM' resource, while its represented as a collection of different control resources in Rez/.rsrc.
