Windows Brain Damage is quite common for newbie Palm users. I've even seen WBD exhibited by new PPC users. One way start reversing the effects is to compel the user to tap something else. I've done this by hiding the 'select' button until after the user makes a choice on the list. After the selection is made, the button appears and they 'feel' the need to tap it. On the flip side, I don't think anyone would come looking for you if you implemented a double tap system. Although it would be more work. (and doesn't reverse the effect of WBD)
