Hi,

I am trying to create a product brochure for a client's site and yet have no
idea how to realize this task. Requirements are like that:

- The brochure is supposed to be downloadable from the web and to be read
offline

- It shall be readable on Palm OS4.x and 5.x. Ideally it would be a
cross-platform-application, but it is OK to have a version of it's own for
every OS.

- The content to be published is available in HTML (it is a microsite), thus
the application has to render HTML. If necessary the content can be
converted to XML.

- The pages are referenced by each othe with hyperlinks.

- The user is supposed to download and install the application with a single
click, thus no installation of a runtime shall be necessary.

- "Real" functionality like synch or database access is not necessary, only
display of images and formatted text.

I thought of using WebClippings, but they seem not to be available for OS5.x
and the WebClipping Apps that I wrote did not run on my POSE with 4.1-ROM.
On 5.x one could write an application that extracts all necessary pages and
images and then opens a browser to display, but how does that work? Or does
anybody know of other possibilities to display simple content inside an
"ordinary" Palm application?

I appreciate any help!

Best regards

Eckhard
