I just looked and had 22 dump files over a period of about two months.

I also just noticed that there is a huge patch on the Metrowerks site
for my platform, Development Studio for Palm OS Platform, v9.

Perhaps there is a patch that you have not applied?

The Release Notes do say that they fixed problems in the IDE.

Subject: How to make CW compille the right code?

Hi all,

I think everyone has a big database of ide dumps in the CW bin folder -
about 30-40 per week. That's normal - cw is crashing alot especially
when it fails to compille right code and run a debug... I've seen many
times debugging commented code, outside of a functions on a blank space
or some defines, debug of an old code and so on. But my real question is

how to let it compille my code? When such a thing occures I'm removing
object code, recompille, change optimization levels, recompille, exit
cw, start it, remove object code, recompille, restart windows, run cw,
recompille, turn the lights off and on, format c:, reinstall windows,
reinstall cw, recompille... etc :) but sometimes (like now) that's
taking hours. Is there a more robust way to do that - like deleting some

files...?
