The 'tver' resource type is reserved for use as specified by PalmSource. Right now, IDs 1 and 1000 have specific meanings. In the future, other ID values could also have specific meanings, so using them for your own purposes is dangerous.


Any resource ID that is all lower-case is reserved for system use. Unless you have a good reason to use it, avoid them. Why not just do 'Date' as a resource and use that? That's in the user-defined range and is even more self-documenting.
