Are there plans for Metrowerks to release a Codewarrior version to support
Cobalt? Or is PODS going to, uh, eclipse that?

CodeWarrior has its own plugin 68K and ARM compilers that are shared
libraries loaded by the IDE.
Palm OS Developer Suite (based on eclipse) is using GCC for 68K
(prc-tools), PACE Native Object (prc-tools), and OS 6 simulator (x86 using
Cygwin) development, along with PalmSource's own pacc compiler for OS 6 ARM
native code development. Remember, that PODS is still just a technology
preview, and we're doing significant work on making the build environment
work better before the 1.0 release.
There are a few other C/C++ IDEs that are wrappers around GCC, but none
that are under current development, AFAIK.
