I have been developer for 13 years. I think I am quite experienced with many different OSes and "IDEs". But I experience problems right now and I don't want to endanger my projects, my passion in programming. "Unsupported" term really scares me - it sounds like "use at own risk", not "we shouldn't be supposed to answer your question". I am sorry to speak like that - I realize that my opinion could be wrong. However, I trust, that it will be fun to develop my app using prc-tools.
When that SDK was posted, it was unsupported, as PalmSource wasn't using prc-tools internally, and didn't have any expertise in that toolset. If you asked PalmSource a question involving an interaction between prc-tools and those headers, we wouldn't necessarily be able to find a solution.
Now that PalmSource is using prc-tools as the 68K compiler for the Palm OS Developer Suite, you should expect that we will support those tools. Right now, the PODS 0.1.1 tools are just a technology preview and there's very limited support. Once we finish the 1.0 release, it will become something that you can contact PalmSource about using the standard DTS incident mechanisms, hence "supported".
