I'm writing an application for medical use using the new beta PilRC 3.2 and PRC-TOOLS make. In it I need to display tables that display a fair bit of text, much more than can be squeezed in using the standard font. On the PocketPC that's easy enough, I just set the font to a smaller size. But on the Palm, using the receipe for customized fonts as described in the PalmSource (FONTFAMILY with one 72 and one 144 density) either gives me a NULL handle error or shows scrambled pixels rather than the customized font.
Has anyone successfully displayed small fonts on a high-res Palm using PRC-tools and PilRC? If so, I would greatly appreciate some insight. My application is getting close to release and this is the only remaining obstacle.
