Hello Eric -

First of all, thank you for the _very_ detailed suggestions.

>Is starting over even an option? ;) Backup anywhere?

I have a backup from a couple of days ago. I am trying to determine if it's quicker
to attempt to fix the RSRC file or just start from the last backup.

Yes, in Constructor, 1.9.1

It appears as though the data is still in there - and the file size is about correct.
To fix the referecnes to the data I would follow your instructions below, right? I do
have a Mac - OS 8.6 that I can try to get going.

Thanks for the helpful advice...
Edward
