Will this be again a single 250+ MB download?
There will be a monolithic single-file download, but we're also looking at chunking it up into multiple files that you can download one-at-a-time, although you'd still need the whole set to do an installation.
We are not planning on using Eclipse's update manager mechanism until after the 1.0 release is final.
