Christmas electronics season requires product introduction in the September - October date range. Any later than that is a disaster. They will if they want to push OS/6 to developers as fast as possible. The interesting question is what is going to happen to OS5.4. There aren't any current devices with it, which says that there will be new OS 5 devices. Otherwise, why even announce it? The tea leaves indicate that OS/5 will continue in the low end, Zire class machines. OS/6 will be introduced as the high end offering.
