Greetings All, I was just wondering if anyone had any concrete data on the usage of timeout values in EvtGetEvent with regards to saving battery life. Specifically, what kind of values need to be specified in the EvtGetEvent call to enable the processor to mode to an idle state and conserve power. Does it have to be evtWaitForever to have any real effect, or can you use values lower than that, even down into the 10 millisecond range to gain any battery-life benefit?
