Hi,
Well-here we have the difference. The Simulator has no microphone attached
to it-so it cannot simulate one! If there is no microphone available, there
is no mic hardware, so no mic api and no mic buffer.
However, maybe PalmSource will implement something in the next sim version
that allows you to designate a system mic as input-or maybe use a speech
file!
BTW, same thing on the Tungsten Series Simulators with Bluetooth. The
Simulators dont have Bluetooth in them......

Best regards

Hi Friends,
I'm facing a very strange problem .I made a sound recorder using Sound
Stream API's .It is running fine..but in one machine ,when I try to run it
on the simulator..in the sound stream callback function for recording ...The
"void *buffer"..is showing invalid ...Buffer is a system buffer where my
voice gets recorded...

Can you please gimme any pointers

Gaurav
