A radical idea (actually, not so radical, but it might look like that to some): allow people to comment on docs.
That's also been a topic of discussion. We really would like to implement a system like that, but we need to work through a number of issues, not the least of which is letting our lawyers host comments from third-parties on our site, and getting a system like that hooked into our developer login system which is currently about to get through a transition to a new IT provider. However, everyone in developer services likes the model used for PHP.net, and thinks that would be an excellent way to allow feedback on the APIs and documentation of quirks of particular devices and OS versions.
