I'm using PalmOS Debugger v4.3 from SDK5 R3. (I don't see a newer one in SDK5 R4.)

I can connect to my Tungsten E using SHORTCUT.2, list the heaps, etc.

However, when I try to debug any heaps using a command like "hchk 0000" I get an error like this:

#ERROR: Invalid flags in heap header
  #ERROR: Invalid Handle field
  ### Error $FFFFFFFF occurred

What am I doing wrong? Please help, thanks!

You're not doing anything wrong. Palm Debugger just doesn't understand the heap data structures on that device.

Ben, how do I get a Palm Debugger that works with Tungsten E (and T3 also had this problem)? Which specific version of the debugger must I use, from which SDK?

Surely such a beast must exist? Otherwise, how can I debug my heaps to track down memory problems?
