I've only started the development of my first application on the Palm. But i've been a bit worried about some of the rumours going around about Palm OS myself. Hearing that the Treo might start running Microsoft OS. And also the drop in market share. I've started to look around for a different platform to develop one and Symbian seems the next logical choice. At least from the point of view of creating sale-able apps. Its still a young platform and not as crowded as the MS stuff in terms of developers trying to compete with applications.
I've always supported the Palm platform, and i still prefer it over the Microsoft devices. But this seems to be a decreasing point of view. I'd like to see Palm grow again but they would have to come out with some pretty up to date devices.
