Hello
I'm just asking. Attention : BAD english ahead. No animals have been harmed, but a few letters ARE missing.
Maybe this is not the right place for this question, in witch case a (kind:)) re-direction would be appreciable.
I just downloaded demos of several guitar tuner applications, and some seem to work pretty well. I'm just trying out everything so I can buy what suits me. More later.
As a guitarist & long (very) time palm-user, you cannot imagine how valuable this is to *always* have a tuner handy.
And, heck, it works with the internal mic. Grrr.
I'd *very much* like it to be directly linked to my Palm, thus avoiding picking up any unwanted noise or frequency.
So this leads to actually 2 questions :
# What are the specs of the microphone input circuit ? (ie power, sample rate, ideally signal/noise, bandwidth, etc) and, huh, is the serial port remotely able to handle audio signals ?
# Would a 400MZH Intel X-scale Palm be capable of handling an analog signal, like the one from a guitar (low power, high impedance, I guess) sample it in real time, then play it back via the output ?
# Oh, I forgot this 3rd one :) : What are the specs of the headphones output circuit ?
Merci
Philippe (junior Java EE2 dev, BTW)
